Sons of Silence ATF Undercover Bust: The $50,000 Bounty That Followed | Part 2

A $50,000 contract followed the Sons of Silence ATF undercover bust. His family was out overnight. Christmas presents still under the tree.

Two years inside one of America's most dangerous outlaw motorcycle gangs ended the night federal affidavits surfaced with Blake Boteler's real name. (Part 1 linked below.) Within hours, a $50,000 contract was placed on him and his partner. ATF pulled his family out of their Tampa home overnight — Christmas presents still under the tree — and relocated them to Virginia under fictitious names for years.

In this conclusion, Blake walks through the operation's final weeks: ordered to assault a stranger at a biker rally in front of the national vice president, snorting gunpowder as a prospect rather than take a worse beating, and the moment national president J.R. Reed snorted meth off a Civil War sword and asked directly what federal agency Blake was buying guns for. Blake also describes a plan ATF headquarters rejected — a staged car bombing, a real cemetery plot in Colorado Springs, and a fake funeral designed to bring every outlaw biker in his network to a single arrest location.

Final count: 230+ weapons, 40+ machine guns, hand grenades, pipe bombs, 21 pounds of methamphetamine. 85 defendants. The Sons of Silence are still active. Blake is still watching.
